I had the pleasure of meeting Carol Underwood 14 years ago at Bark Avenue in Chicago. She trained my 3 month old Australian Cattle dog, Phoebe McBean, who adored her. After each training session, Carol would train me to handle my dog, which was imperative in the process.
A few years later, my husband and I moved to Europe, where dogs are welcome on public transportation and in several public places, so it was important to have a well-trained dog. Phoebe always fell back on her training when it really mattered. She is always obedient and knows what is expected of her in every situation.
For example, one morning, my husband took Phoebe to the bakery and as always, he left her right outside the door, untethered. About 20 minutes after he came home with a loaf of bread, I realized that Phoebe's leash was not in its usual spot. My husband and I ran out the door in a panic. We headed in different directions, to recover our dog. When I could not find Phoebe, I headed back home in tears, but luckily, I was relieved to find that Phoebe was home! My husband told me that she was in the exact spot where he left her. She didn't move, even an inch! I attributed this to Carol's excellent training and will always be forever grateful.
If you are looking for a dog trainer, there is no one better than Carol. She is top notch and has a natural affinity for animals. She is an expert and I guarantee that you will be happy with her most excellent training methods.
